Thank you for taking the time to learn more about my campaign to be re-elected as Mayor of Inkster. When I was first elected as mayor four years ago, Inkster was a shell of its former great self. Once elected I pledged to provide stellar leadership that would guide Inkster onto the right path. The work that I do each day is inspired by my drive to make the quality of life of every Inkster resident better.
During my tenure we have been able to accomplish some amazing things:
- Inkster is no longer in receivership by the State of Michigan
- Over $8 million in debt cleared from former Inkster Public School System
- Inkster has received three grants dedicated to improving our Police and Fire Departments
- $260,000 for an ambulance
- $142, 975 to improve street lighting
- $100.000 for police emergency vehicle replacement
- Improved City Services
- Garbage Collection and Recycling options
- Improvements at Inkster Parks
- Westwood Park -- Home of Inkster Raiders Football Team
- Rehabilitated bathrooms
